I am a huge fan of Evernote and since 2016 when I first started using it now stores over 2,000 of my various notes!
It truly seems like an all-in-one note program and it is only up to you what information you store – diary, observations, images, study notes, calendars, various schemes or even files. It supports searching in your hand-written uploaded documents, audio-notes and clipping websites, all which makes it an absolute no-brainer.
This program is helping me to keep track of planned activities and get things done.

RescueTime runs in the background (computers & mobiles) and tracks time spent on applications and websites, giving you an overview about how and where you spend your time.
It supports reports and data based on your (daily) activity so you can understand your daily habits and focus on becoming more productive.
Inspired by Kanban, a Japanese recipe for getting things done, Trello masters dividing a given process into individual steps, each represented by a separated column.
Trello gives you a complete overview over your project’s progress. Although the concept is easy, it requires you to use your brain to figure out how to best use it for your team and the workload you manage.
Easy automation for busy people. Zapier moves info between your web apps automatically, so you can focus on your most important work. Zaps connect over 1000s of apps you use every day.
Pomodoro technique helps you maintain focus and productivity by breaking work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by 5 minute breaks.
Stretchly has great inspirational tips during the pauses and displays full-screen notifications, something you just cannot miss!

This my my #1 application for taking screenshots, uploading them online and pasting the link to your clipboard. All with a simple key click! It supports imgur and plenty of others, including your own FTP server. Animated gifs are also supported.
It also supports numerous other tools whether you are a developer or need to do some technical work.
The only downside is that it is Windows only.
COURSE HOSTING PLATFORM
If you want to teach online, Thinkific connects all the stuff like file hosting, website, payment processor and statistics into one place so you can focus on what matters the most. I like it because they offer website templates that just work, unlimited file storage and insanely fast support team.
COURSE MARKETPLACE AND HOSTING
If you want to learn any skill, try searching for a course on Udemy. Everyone can host their courses there so quality will vary, but in general you can learn the fundamentals of almost anything.
VIDEO RECORDING AND EDITING
A complete screen recording and editing suite.
Simple enough even if you have never recorded or edited anything, but quality enough to create polished, professional-looking videos.
Business & Marketing
Display a little notification on your website about how many people purchased your software, signed for your newsletter, viewed the site or anything else you want to highlight.
